(a) The following definitions apply to this part: (i)(A) A city, town, or incorporated area that has a population of greater than 20,000 inhabitants; or (B) An urbanized area contiguous and adjacent to a city or town that has a population of greater than 50,000 inhabitants as defined in the Agency mapping tool. (ii) In determining a rural area, all areas shall exclude certain populations pursuant to 7 U.S.C. 1991(a)(13)(H) and (I). (b) Unless otherwise provided in the award documents, all financial terms not defined herein shall have the meaning as defined by GAAP.
