Maintaining records.

(a) Persons requesting benefits under this subpart must maintain records and accounts to document all eligibility requirements specified in this subpart. Such records and accounts must be retained for 3 years after the date of payment to the dairy producer under this subpart. (b) Destruction of the records after 3 years from the date of payment will be at the decision and risk of the party undertaking the destruction.
